Instructions for use for Bathing
Dissolve salt in a bath of approx 37C.
Relax and soak for 20 minutes or so.
For detoxifying bathing use up to 500g of salt per regular sized bath.
Use 3 times per week for 2 weeks, then when needed.
For general wellbeing use approx 100g-200g per regular sized bath.
The book Salt & Water by Dr Barbara Hendel claims that a 30 minute soak in a bath filled with 1kg of Himalayan Salt has the same detoxing effect as a three day fast.

The magic of the pink salt
Himalayan pink salt isn’t any normal salt. It contains 84 minerals and trace elements that are highly beneficial for the body including magnesium, calcium, copper, potassium and iron, according to the website The Greater Green. “Regular consumption of Himalayan pink salt provides essential minerals, trace elements, balances electrolytes, supports proper nutrient absorption, eliminates toxins, balances the body’s pH, normalizes blood pressure, and increases circulation and conductivity,” according to the website.
The salt is sometimes comes a reddish or pink color, with some crystals having an off-white colour to it. It is commonly used for cooking similar to regular table salt, brine and bath products.
